Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using RemoteAgent, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including those on a free trial.

2. Description of Service

RemoteAgent is a software service that allows developers to interact with Claude Code running on their own servers via Telegram. RemoteAgent acts as a relay layer — it does not execute code, manage AI models, or store your source code. All AI processing happens on infrastructure you own and control.

3. Your Anthropic API Key

RemoteAgent is designed so that your Anthropic API key never leaves your server. It is stored locally in your agent configuration and is never transmitted to RemoteAgent servers. You are solely responsible for your API key, its usage, and any costs incurred with Anthropic.

4. Account & Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use RemoteAgent. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under it. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.

5. Free Trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full Pro features. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial, service access will be paused unless you subscribe to a paid plan. Your data is retained for 30 days after trial expiry.

6. Paid Plans & Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods unless required by applicable law. Prices may change with 30 days notice.

7. Assumption of Risk — Important

RemoteAgent enables AI-generated commands to execute directly on your server. You assume full and sole responsibility for all actions taken by Claude Code on your infrastructure.

Claude Code may read, modify, create, or delete files on your server based on your instructions.
Claude Code may execute shell commands, install packages, or interact with running processes.
Unintended or destructive outcomes are possible. Always maintain backups of critical data.
DDO LTD has no visibility into what commands are executed on your server and accepts no liability for any resulting damage.
You are responsible for configuring appropriate access controls and permission settings before deploying the agent.

By using RemoteAgent you explicitly acknowledge these risks and agree that DDO LTD bears no responsibility for any data loss, system damage, security incidents, or other harm arising from the use of this service.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use RemoteAgent to:

Violate any applicable law or regulation
Infringe third-party intellectual property rights
Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent security measures
Abuse, overload, or disrupt the service infrastructure
Resell or sublicense access to third parties without written consent

9. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. RemoteAgent may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime.

10. Intellectual Property

RemoteAgent and its underlying software are owned by DDO LTD. Nothing in these terms grants you ownership of our software. Your data remains yours — we claim no intellectual property rights over content you process through the service.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DDO LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of RemoteAgent, including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malta. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malta.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you via Telegram bot of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
