Terms of Service
Effective date: April 1, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using RemoteAgent, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including those on a free trial.
2. The Service
RemoteAgent is a relay service operated by DDO LTD (MT30710326) that allows developers to interact with AI coding agents running on their own servers via Telegram. RemoteAgent acts as a messaging bridge — it does not execute code, manage AI models, or store your source code. Supported agents include Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Aider, OpenCode, and any custom CLI tool you configure. All AI processing happens on infrastructure you own and control.
3. Your AI Provider API Keys
RemoteAgent is designed so that your AI provider API keys (Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, or any other provider) never leave your server. They are stored locally in your agent configuration and are never transmitted to RemoteAgent servers. You are solely responsible for your API keys, their usage, and any costs incurred with third-party AI providers.
4. Relay Architecture & Technical Access
RemoteAgent operates as a messaging relay between your Telegram account and your local agent. All commands you send via Telegram are received by our servers, forwarded through an encrypted Redis channel, and executed by the agent software running on your machine.
- Technical access: As the operator of the relay infrastructure, DDO LTD has theoretical technical capability to inject messages into the Redis relay channel. We explicitly commit never to do so. This commitment is contractually binding under these terms.
- Prompt content: The text of commands you send via Telegram transits through our servers. We do not log, store, or analyse prompt content beyond the first 200 characters saved as a session preview for your dashboard.
- No silent access: Any command sent to your agent produces a visible response in your Telegram chat. There is no mechanism for silent or hidden command execution.
- Audit trail: All sessions are logged with timestamp, agent ID, and status. You can view your full session history in the dashboard at any time.
5. Account & Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use RemoteAgent. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under it. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.
6. Free Trial
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full Pro features. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial, service access will be paused unless you subscribe to a paid plan. Your data is retained for 30 days after trial expiry.
7. Paid Plans, Billing & Right of Withdrawal
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
EU/EEA Consumer Right of Withdrawal: If you are a consumer resident in the EU or EEA, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days of your first paid subscription without giving any reason. To exercise this right, contact us at legal@ddo.mt before the 14-day period expires. By activating your subscription and using the service immediately, you expressly request early performance and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. Outside of the statutory withdrawal right, we do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. Prices may change with 30 days notice.
8. Assumption of Risk — Important
RemoteAgent enables AI-generated commands to execute directly on your server. You assume full and sole responsibility for all actions taken by any AI agent on your infrastructure.
- AI agents may read, modify, create, or delete files on your server based on your instructions.
- AI agents may execute shell commands, install packages, or interact with running processes.
- Unintended or destructive outcomes are possible. Always maintain backups of critical data.
- DDO LTD (MT30710326) has no visibility into what commands are executed on your server and accepts no liability for any resulting damage.
- You are responsible for configuring appropriate access controls and permission settings before deploying the agent.
By using RemoteAgent you explicitly acknowledge these risks and agree that DDO LTD bears no responsibility for any data loss, system damage, security incidents, or other harm arising from the use of this service.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use RemoteAgent to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe third-party intellectual property rights
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent security measures
- Abuse, overload, or disrupt the service infrastructure
- Resell or sublicense access to third parties without written consent
10. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. RemoteAgent may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime.
11. Intellectual Property
RemoteAgent and its underlying software are owned by DDO LTD. Nothing in these terms grants you ownership of our software. Your data remains yours — we claim no intellectual property rights over content you process through the service.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DDO LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of RemoteAgent, including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the three months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Maltese or EU law.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
14. Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Malta. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malta. If you are a consumer resident in the EU/EEA, you may also have the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you via Telegram bot of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
